Kiwi PyCon is a community conference, so we try and be as affordable as possible. We have a simple pricing structure with three different types of ticket. Every type of ticket is identical, and all tickets give you entry into all the kiwi-pycon related events, with the exception of the conference dinner and development sprints. All ticket holders will receive a snazzy conference T-shirt, so you can make your colleagues jealous that you went to Kiwi PyCon and they didn't!
Conference Ticket Types
Please consider buying a contributor ticket if you can, as it's the only ticket type that covers all the costs associated with running the conference. The more people purchase contributor tickets, the more new people we can introduce to the New Zealand Python developer community.
|$450 NZD||Contributor Ticket||Contributor tickets are for those of you who are being sent to Kiwi PyCon by your employer. Contributor tickets help to fund Kiwi PyCon for everyone, they make it possible for us to offer more unwaged tickets to support students and others who need help to be able to attend.|
|$150 NZD||Waged Ticket||The waged ticket is intended to be as affordable as possible for anyone in gainful employment, but without a company sending them.|
|$90 NZD||Unwaged Ticket||For students and anyone not currently employed, these tickets give you the full Kiwi PyCon experience at a more affordable price.|
In 2016 we have organised a spectacular conference dinner. This is a separate event, and you must register for it separately. More information can be found on the Conference Dinner page.
